Can algorithms be biased
I have seen many discussions regarding whether algorithms can be biased or they are pure mathematical formulations beyond human reproach. What most people lack to acknowledge is that algorithms are, above all, human creations and therefore subject to all our prejudices. Secondly, algorithms despite what guru's try to make us believe are nothing more than sets of rules.
