A pattern I've observed in many #scipreneurs is that they work across domains. A physicist realizes their tool is useful for a chemist. A chemist developed a reactor which is useful for a physicist, etc. And the chances of incorporating our own biases into the innovation process are too large to neglect.

I have worked most of my professional life in very masculine, very engineering-like environments.

You can't even imagine the number of times I've heard "A biologist doesn't like doing ..."
