Science education could focus on understanding the world around people
<p>Scientific literacy means that people can develop intellectual tools to understand the reality around them. </p>
<p>Topics such as <a class="wikilink" href="/climate_change/">climate change</a>, overexploitation, health, can be better addressed by proper scientific literacy. </p>
<p>However, having methods for <a class="wikilink" href="/better_thinking/">better thinking</a> can expand to other areas, such as generating more inclusive societies. </p>
