<li>Customer should adapt to the product</li>
<li>Product should work in a way that the customer expects</li>
</ol>
<p>It is a fundamental aspect of <a class="wikilink" href="/product_management/">Product Management</a>, and has a relevant position in <a class="wikilink" href="/product_development_cycle/">product development cycle</a>. It is not an after thought when engineering has decided what to build, but a building block on which the product manager needs to iterate.</p>
