Work policies designed for the average

Every work policy that is designed considering an average person, will be male by default. This includes from what expenses can be claimed back1, such as a babysitter to be able to attend an event, to the flexibility required to care for children.

This all stems from the lack of acknowledgment of the amount of unpaid work done by women, which does not get factored in when deciding what policies and benefits must be included.
