Work policies designed for the average
<p>Every work policy that is designed considering an average person, will be <a class="wikilink" href="/male_by_default/">male by default</a>. This includes from what expenses can be claimed back<sup id="fnref:1"><a class="footnote-ref" href="#fn:1">1</a></sup>, such as a babysitter to be able to attend an event, to the flexibility required to care for children. </p>
<p>This all stems from the lack of acknowledgment of the amount of <a class="wikilink" href="/unpaid_work_done_by_women/">unpaid work done by women</a>, which does not get factored in when deciding what policies and benefits must be included. </p>
