Kaizen
It is a Japanese idea that means "incremental improvement". The idea is that if every day we perform a task even if marginally better than the day before, we will end up with a situation much better than from which we have started.
It is one of these broad management and coaching topics that are based on what Toyota and other industries were doing after WWII.
