Reasons why scientists are not entrepreneurs
There may be several reasons why a scientists does not become an entrepreneur, some of them are[@ianuzzi2017Entrepreneurship for Physicists]
- Lack of awareness
- Lack of motivation
- Lack of know-how
Although I agree with the premise, I think it neglects the fact that not every researcher can be an entrepreneur, simply because they don't have an idea that can be brought to market. Not all research is readily translatable, and the technology transfer process can't simply start.
